Leather Vest and Pleated Maxi Skirt

The title explains it all. I stumbled upon this amazing Barneys' Co-Op leather vest at Crossroads this past weekend. I felt like I'd discovered a treasure chest full of gold that hundreds of other people walked past and hadn't noticed. You know? I was all, "How is this still here?" Lucky me. I rarely find such amazing items at thrift stores.

I've been loving the gel manicure lately. I decided to go neutral on all but the ring finger. I blinged that one out. I loved the end result.

Black and White

All black and white except for this mint green scarf, that is. Such a comfortable outfit for work. I had to walk all over campus today and these shoes took good care of my feet.  Now for a long night of aerial fabric. I teach a class on Thursday nights so if you're ever in the bay area, you should come to my class. How fun would that be?

Printed Shorts

I'm not a shorts wearing kind of gal. But I really loved these printed shorts by Vince Camuto. They are a length that I'm willing to wear. I thought I'd dress it up a bit for work. Shorts to work? Why not?

Zara Camouflage Blazer

I really love military jackets. But what I love even more about this camouflage blazer from Zara is that it's fitted. I think it gives the silhouette a more feminine feel. I'm wearing my tattered boyfriend jeans and a baggy heather grey tank to give it a casual edge. Heels and a fun necklace can give it an extra feminine touch as well. Oh, and this extra bright scarf is loud and infused with Spring.

I hope you guys are enjoying some sunny weather. If not, hang in there. It's on it's way.

Girls Night Out

Two posts in one day? What?

My husband is on tour with his band, Kowloon Walled City, right now so I'm taking this opportunity to catch up with some friends. I went out to dinner with a girlfriend tonight. We had a blast. I wore this sheer black top with these amazing J Brand pants. There's a leather panel on the inside of the leg and it creates the illusion of smaller thighs! Or at least that's what I'm telling myself. Girl, I need all the help I can get to decrease these bad boys!

Hope you are all having a great weekend.

Patterned Jeans

Today I'm wearing a casual look using a pair of patterned jeans. I'm wearing a simple over-sized tee and my mixed media moto jacket. I decided to wear these cognac sandals to pull the color from the tee and also to show off my cute pink pedicure.

I'm going to Vegas tomorrow for one night to see my muse and mentor TT Robson perform at the Wynn Hotel. I've never done anything like this. It was a whim and I'm not a whim kind of girl. So, this is an adventure and I'm ready!
